Guys with messy sock drawers have sex three times more per month than those who neatly fold and organize their socks, according to a new survey by IKEA, an international home-furnishings retailer. Apparently, clutter can be good for relationships. The "You Can't Be Too Organized" poll of 620 people found couples who don't have closet organizers argue three fewer times per month than those who do. Scottsdale, Ariz., attorney Bob Ciancola placed some stock in the survey, because it found that men who, like him, don't own Palm Pilots are much more likely to remember their wives' birthdays. But unlike most men, who spend more time looking for clean socks or the remote control than anything else, according to the survey, Ciancola most often misplaces his sunglasses. "I never use the remote control because I always watch the same channel - PBS," he says, swearing it's true. Other survey findings: • Registered Republicans are three times more likely than registered Democrats to color-code their T-shirt drawers. • "Survivor" watchers are four times as likely as viewers of "Friends" to fold their underwear. • Women viewers of "Oz" are five times as likely to consider themselves disorganized, while fans of "The Sopranos" are three times more likely to own shower organizers. • Men spend an average of 80 minutes per week looking for the remote control. Women spend seven minutes.
